So what did I learn about mobile blogging?
First of all, it is easy. Anyone, almost anyone with a camera phone or a phone that can send e-mail can do it. It isn't that hard, there is nothing overtly special about it. All I did was set up a Blogger blog and configure it. There are other aps, heck one could microblog via text message on Twitter. Technology makes this simple.
I also learned that the blog can be interactive. Text messages, Facebook messages and Gmails came from several of you asking to see or 'hear' about things. This is as cool as it is distracting. Cool because this could be truly interactive, distracting because it can interrupt the flow of what was going on. [No one likes the guy who is glued to his phone 24/7. No one.]
There were times where blogging about what's going on simply can be a distraction. Kind of like the 'tourist' photographer who misses the trip because he is more concerned about getting the best shot.... It is a balance thing.
Sometimes there is nothing to blog about on a trip from Wausau to Chicago. Two pals on a road trip discuss a lot of things that are not necessarily interesting to others nor for public consumption. And that is the way it should be.
Honestly, looking back at the site, it is a nice journal of a road trip. If you don't know Rob or me, you've never heard of Mike Ness, if you didn't follow this as it happened; quite frankly this blog is a horrible read.

Another Blog.....
Essentially, this blog is a test of mobile blogging from my Moto Q9C. I figured it would be better to pollute some new internet space rather than corrupt my regular blog.
Rob and I are on headed to Chicago today to catch a Mike Ness / Jesse Dayton show. This blog will follow our adventures, provided the Q's battery holds up and my interest level remains.
Again, this is a test sort of thing. Not really expecting people to read this, but if you do, enjoy the ride.
